Waitress: “Hi officer. Yeah I remember the guy, he was in here just yesterday. I probably wouldn’t have notice him except he had a really strange drink order…he wanted a glass of milk with a slice of lemon. Really gross, right? I do remember when I walked over to get him a refill, he was on the phone with someone. I think he was talking to someone at the post office because he kept referring to a PO box. Oh, he did leave this piece of paper behind…. actually, meant to throw it away but I just shoved it in my pocket and forgot about it. Sorry, it didn’t seem very important at the time, so I don’t remember too much.”
Post office attendant: “Hrm, a young guy named Yugo.
Let me look it up in the computer real quick.
Oh yes, I see it here officer. Looks like he opened a PO Box just yesterday.
I’m not sure if he’s received any mail just yet but you can have a look.
Do you have a key?”
Bartender: “Hey officer, how’s it going? Yeah I remember the guy. Sat by himself at the bar all night, kept ordering milk and lemon, super weird dude. I eventually had to ask him to leave after he vandalized my bar top. Can you believe that? Turned around for just a few minutes and when I came back to top him up, I see this drawn on the counter. Took this photo because I wanted to file a police report myself!”
Security guard: “Hey how’s it going? You’re asking about a young guy who came here yesterday for a court hearing? Sure, I remember him, weird guy…smelled like milk and lemon. He had a pocket full of bottle caps that set off the metal detector. I asked him to empty his pockets to go through security and he ended up leaving everything right here in the basket. See for yourself, I forgot to throw it away. Weird that one guy would have so many bottle caps in his pocket…looks like there is also a scrap of paper, probably nothing but you can have a look”
Curator: “Greetings officer. I don’t really remember anything out of the ordinary yesterday but you are welcome to check out our security cam footage, you never know what it’ll catch.”
The museum curator walks you back to the security office. Here you are given the security tapes and left alone to review them. Sure enough, after a few minutes of looking you find footage of Yugo passing in front of the museum. When you lean in closely you can hear him faintly mumbling “p204” over and over again. He seems pretty agitated.
